Senior Manager, Site Merchandising – UK
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Site Merchandising to own the customer journey across the Quince UK site—our largest and most important market. This role sits at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and data. You’ll be responsible for how products and content come to life on the site to attract, engage, and convert customers.
Beyond optimizing the onsite experience, this role will take a leading position in SEO and organic growth, leveraging content and site merchandising tools to drive awareness, discovery, and traffic. You’ll use insights and data to ensure Quince’s unique value proposition shines through every page—from homepage to product detail.
This role will participate in shaping our growth in the UK and EU through leveraging our global tools and processes, helping improve them and developing impactful localization strategy and tactics across web and app. You’ll partner closely with Marketing, Creative, Category Management, and Engineering to ensure site merchandising supports both brand and business goals.
This role requires being onsite at our London office four days a week.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Lead the end-to-end merchandising strategy for the Quince UK website and mobile apps, ensuring a seamless and inspiring customer experience.</li>
<li>Manage and optimize merchandising tools and platforms that power product discovery, personalization, and site and app performance.</li>
<li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, and Data teams to align onsite experiences with seasonal campaigns, assortment shifts, and brand priorities.</li>
<li>Partner with global teams to ensure improvements to tooling, automation, merchandising best practices can be easily adopted in the region as well as improving our key metrics.</li>
<li>Use analytics and testing to continuously improve site navigation, product placement, and content engagement.</li>
<li>Own site merchandising calendar and execution for key selling moments (e.g., Black Friday/Cyber Monday, holiday, new launches).</li>
<li>Drive best practices in product storytelling, cross-selling, and navigation to improve engagement and conversion.</li>
<li>Partner with Engineering and Data teams to implement content automation, metadata structuring, and semantic optimization that improve site crawlability and ranking in AI search results.</li>
<li>Stay ahead of evolving SEO landscapes (Google’s SGE, OpenAI’s search integrations, etc.) to ensure Quince ranks prominently in next-generation search ecosystems.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
Required:
<ul>
<li>A minimum of 5+ years of experience in site merchandising, ecommerce, digital merchandising, site optimization, or growth/SEO</li>
<li>Proven track record of an end-to-end customer journey across web and app for a high-volume consumer brand. </li>
<li>Experience leading a merchandising or digital experience function for an international or multi-market business and strong localization expertise. </li>
<li>Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using A/B testing, web analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel), and experimentation platforms. </li>
<li>Advanced knowledge of SEO foundations: metadata, internal linking, site structure, schema marketup, crawlability. </li>
<li>Strong understanding of UK/EU ecommerce consumer behavior, online buying patterns, seasonal trends, and regulatory considerations. </li>
<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. </li>
<li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. </li>
<li>Experience leading a design-forward team that is obsessed with pixel-perfect craftsmanship. </li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). </li>
<li>4 days onsite at our London office is required. </li>
</ul>
Preferred:
<ul>
<li>Personalized customer experience across multiple channels. </li>
<li>Demonstrated experience applying AI tools. </li>
<li>Track record of success in fast-scaling, high-growth environments, ideally in direct-to-consumer (DTC) or omnichannel commerce. </li>
<li>Familiarity with search & merchandising tools (Bloomreach, Algolia).</li>
<li>Familiarity with SEO platforms (Botify, Semrush).</li>
<li>Familiarity with A/B testing tools (Optimizely, VWO) and product analytics tools (Looker, Tableau).  </li>
<li>Excited by super-IC role with broad scope and impact. </li>
