Kubernetes tutorials

Kubernetes is the de-facto standard for running containers at scale. This series is a complete walkthrough of the platform, built around a real cluster you install yourself with kubeadm and the Calico network plugin.

The first chapters explain the control plane (API server, etcd, scheduler, controllers), the CNI model and the Pod lifecycle. You then learn how to schedule workloads precisely with node selectors, affinity and taints, and how to manage configuration and sensitive data with ConfigMaps and Secrets.

Workload controllers come next — ReplicaSets, Deployments, DaemonSets, StatefulSets, Jobs — followed by namespaces, Services and Ingress, network policies, CoreDNS, RBAC and service accounts. The operations chapters cover volumes, resource quotas, probes, Helm, autoscaling, metrics, cluster upgrades and troubleshooting.

Each lesson is written as a lab: YAML manifests you can apply with kubectl, expected output, and cleanup steps. Follow the order below or use it as a reference for the CKA/CKAD exams.
